Michael “Ship” Shipley, our Investor Coach, is a licensed Investment Advisor Representative. He earned a B.A. in Management Information Systems from Utah State University and gained corporate experience at Microsoft and Yahoo!. Ship was the founder and owner of Kahuna Marketing, where he developed marketing strategies and campaigns for many notable brands. As a lifelong investor, Ship’s perspective evolved when he discovered a new way to apply the science of investing to his portfolio. This revelation allowed him and his wife, Alisha, to take a one-year sabbatical for volunteer work in New Zealand before joining Kinghorn Law | Financial. A lover of travel and adventure, Ship has resided in four countries and five states, including Hawaii. Additionally, he enjoys hiking Tucson’s trails, adores dogs, and has experience training guide dog puppies. Married for nearly 26 years, Ship treasures family time with his wife, two kids, and a wonderful son-in-law.
